Future Isle of Wight CIC is a Community Interest Company formed in 2017 to showcase the Isle of Wight as a leader in sustainable living. Our first aim is to hold an annual event at the new CECAMM college building, Island Technology Park, Whippingham on the 6th October 2018.
The day will be a mix of education and a trade event and will include over sixty exhibitors as well as local charities. We will cover four zones, Transport, Green Living, Education & Technology and Food & Waste
The ethos of the CIC and the event is to showcase local businesses and inform island residents as well as other businesses how we can reduce our financial outgoings in a sustainable way
An overview of the event; as you walk into the CECAMM building you will have the opportunity of trialling electric bikes and cars with in-depth information available. Within the Food & Waste zone there will be local produce, cookery demonstrations and food composting. The Education and Technology zone will exhibit the Islands newest technologies
