Valuation provider VesselsValue.com is celebrating five years in business. The company has offices in Singapore, London and Stoke but its biggest UK base is at Westridge in Ryde, employing 36 people.
Richard Rivlin, CEO and founder wants to increase that number to more than 200 staff. He’s also growing the business by moving into valuations for trains and aeroplanes in addition to ships. VesselsValue.com currently has over 5,000 shipping companies on its database, with valuations for more than 50,000 vessels.
“We launched our first product in 2011 and we’re growing furiously,” Richard explains. “Our main clients are blue chip banks and we have a wonderful client base. Our research department on the Island is already quite large but and we have plans to grow aggressively, possibly up to 250 employees. What we’re looking for in new recruits is intelligence, enthusiasm, commitment and hard work. We’re very Isle of Wight-centric and we’re keen equally to get the message out that we’re looking for good people to join a dynamic, smart company. We want you!”
