40 Island businesses have been shortlisted for the Island’s most prestigious awards, which will be presented on Friday 9th May.

The nominations have been unveiled for the biggest event of the year for the Island’s business community. The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2025 will be presented at Cowes Yacht Haven in May, with 40 Island businesses recognised in 59 nominations. The annual awards ceremony is the most prestigious night in the business calendar and is presented with WRS as headline sponsor for the first time.

“We’re thrilled to present a really strong shortlist that once again showcases the cream of the Island’s business community,” explains IW Chamber Chief Executive Steven Holbrook. “Every year this event showcases the incredible businesses that make the Island a brilliant place to live and work. We have so much to celebrate here.”

“Once again, our nominees represent a wide range of businesses from across our community, of all sizes and sectors. After some years of economic uncertainty, it’s great to see some real consistency here, with some well recognised names returning to our shortlist, as well as welcoming many new businesses, either newly established or engaging with this event for the first time.”

“Our team of judges were really impressed by the quality of entries and have worked hard to select this shortlist. Our impartial judging panel is made up of 23 business experts, more than two thirds of which are based off Island, and some internationally. Our quality threshold is extremely high, and all of the businesses have already done incredibly well to earn their nomination.”

Tickets are on sale now for the event and are available via iwchamber.co.uk. Nominated businesses will be prioritised for this high demand event.

“WRS Systems is honoured to be the headline sponsor at the Isle of Wight Chamber Awards in 2025,” says David Jackson, CEO WRS. “As a business based on the Island, we understand the vital role that the Chamber plays in the local business community. Being a part of this event is an exciting opportunity for us, as we have always valued our collaboration with the Chamber. Having been previous winners, we can attest to the greatness of these evenings and the fantastic opportunity they provide to celebrate the hard work of our teams. The Awards evening is the highlight of the Island business scene, and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing you all in May 2025.”

The host and entertainment for the prestigious black-tie evening will be revealed shortly.
