The Island’s biggest business-to-business event returns to the Lakeside Park Hotel in Wootton on Wednesday September 13th. Expo 2017, organised by the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, will see more than 50 businesses exhibiting to hundreds of visitors. Entry is free and the event is open to everyone. It’s a day of high quality networking with seminars and Expo offers from exhibiting businesses.
“Keeping business on the Island is very important,” says the Chamber’s President Geoff Underwood. “Trading with each other supports our local businesses and local jobs. If you can get a product or service delivered or provided by someone who is based near to you and who understands the Isle of Wight, that’s got to be a winner. Plus they’ll probably be quicker, more attentive and more interested in your business. That’s what Expo is all about. Helping Island businesses to make new contacts who can potentially become new clients.”
This year Expo is supported by WightFibre, who will be providing free fast wi-fi meaning delegates can stay in touch with the office at all times.
“WightFibre are delighted to be supporting the Expo as primary sponsor,” says WightFibre CEO John Irvine. “We see the Expo as one of THE business events of the year. It is a great day for networking and building relationships with other local businesses. As a truly local island company it makes sense for WightFibre to support our island business community by helping the Chamber stage this event”.
Expo is once again sponsored by the Isle of Wight County Press and Crossprint Media, with supporting sponsorship from Lifeline Alarm Systems, Swinton Business and the Island Tea and Coffee Company.
