Wight Computers welcomes Jamie Stone to its growing team. Jamie joins as the first apprentice for the Newport based business. He recently graduated from the Isle of Wight College and joins the established team of technology innovators who are all proud alumni of the College.
Managing director Andrew Nordbruch commented, “The business has been growing steadily over the last five years since we started, and we have seen a real increase in the past year specifically for effective, bespoke software solutions which help businesses to improve their productivity and which save them time and money. It’s an exciting time for the company and I am very pleased to be able to offer an apprentice the opportunity to grow and develop with us.”
Jamie who will be working alongside John Collingwood in the web and software development side of the company added, “I have always had a particular interest in writing software and I feel privileged to have joined a young and dynamic IT team. I’m looking forward to being able to contribute to the new ideas that Wight Computers offer their clients.”
