Good Skills Training Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have been delivering First Aid and Health and Safety Training and Consultancy for over two years. Larry Martin and Barry Grant work with all industry sectors, from scaffolders and window fitters through to education, health and hospitality.
“With backgrounds in the education sector it is perhaps not surprising that we work very closely with over 85% of schools on the Isle of Wight,” Larry says. “We train staff and offer free first aid training to the school children. To date, we have provided first aid training and workshops to over 5000 children on the Isle of Wight alone, and will be working closely with the government to ensure our training meets the level required when this is introduced to the curriculum. Due to the success and uptake of this initiative, we now also offer free CPR and Defibrillator Workshops to communities, charities and voluntary organisations across the Isle of Wight on a regular basis.

As Chamber members we strive to keep our costs as low as possible, working in partnership with the Chamber to bring further affordable and easily accessible training and consultancy to businesses on the Isle of Wight to ensure healthy and safe working environments.”
