At an event held in Westminster, London, Dale Howarth was appointed as a CPD Ambassador with the CPD Standards Office (CPDSO) which is part of the Professional Development Consortium. One of only twelve such Ambassadors.

Dale is well known as a Business Mentor and one of only a handful of Accredited CPD Speakers in the country, he also recently received the coveted Training Provider Of Excellence status (TPOE) from the CPDSO.

As a CPD Ambassador Dale will work with business and commerce to promote the importance of continuing professional development. Something reflected in his role as Course Director for the Chambers ground-breaking mini MBA Programme which is the first CPD Accredited mini MBA of its type in the country. Something also supported through the many seminars and lectures Dale conducts each year to audiences across the UK, Europe and North America.

In addition, through the Professional Development Consortium, the work of Dale, his fellow Ambassadors and the CPD team contributes to the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Skills and Employment (APGSE). A coalition of UK Parliamentarians from all parties, devoted to raising the profile and status of skills and employment policy in the UK. Bringing together Parliament, employers, and the skills sector to promote and develop effective skills policy as a central means of personal and economic development for the 21st Century.

CPDSO Director Daniel Hole comments: “As an accredited CPD Speaker and also holding the coveted Training Provider Of Excellence status we are pleased to welcome Dale as a CPD Ambassador. His work directly with businesses combined with his many lectures and presentations to business audiences across the UK and worldwide will enable the CPD Standards community to grow and reflect the importance of excellence in lifelong learning.”
