It’s been another winning night for the Island’s business community at the Business Awards for Excellence, presented by the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony at Cowes Yacht Haven Events Centre on Friday 2nd December was hosted by Fred Dinenage and saw Tapnell Farm win three awards including being named Business Of The Year.
“It’s been an incredible night and it’s a bit of a shock,” says Tapnell Farm’s Tom Turney. “We have an incredible team and it’s testament to the work that they have done. We’re all very happy. It’s a special award for a special team.”
It was a great night for the Island’s manufacturing sector too, with RFEL, Red Composites, Vikoma, Gurit and Innovative Physics all picking up trophies. There was recognition too for the Island’s High Sheriff Robin Courage MBE who was named Business Person of The Year for his work in creating Isle of Wight Day. Liz Earle Beauty Company was named Member of The Year.
