Mary Hall from Ventnor is celebrating a £2,000 win on the Chamber Of Commerce’s Isle of Wight Lottery. Mary was visiting a friend in the Lake District when she found out that her number had been drawn. She couldn’t believe her luck.
“I’d learned to live vibrantly and abundantly on very little money so when the amount of £2,000 landed in my lap it was remarkable!”
Mary moved to the Island eight years ago and quickly started playing the IW Lottery by monthly direct debit.
“My husband and I had been sole traders on the mainland in a small business and we wanted to support the IW Lottery’s ethos. The Isle of Wight is amazingly different to the mainland. We knew what it was like trying to run a business and little businesses can grow and grow, particularly with the right support.”
Mary works with Trager, a form of complimentary therapy. She’s going to invest some of the money in some Trager training sessions on the Island later this year and she’s also going to attend a Trager conference in America.
