Helen Flux from Newport has won £10,000 by playing the IW Lottery. “I was shocked! I’ve been playing since the beginning in 2001. It’s a great idea and it supports the local community. I am so glad I signed up”, she explains.
Helen will be spending part of her winnings on a relaxing trip to Samoa. She usually saves up to visit her friend in New Zealand every couple of years. Now Helen will be able to do more activities on the holiday, thanks to the Isle of Wight Lottery.
Helen is the Isle of Wight Lottery’s fourth £10,000 winner. Zoe Stroud from the Chamber Of Commerce says: “It’s a life changing amount of money and we’re thrilled for Helen. It’s still only a pound to play the Isle Of Wight Lottery each week and it’s all supporting real jobs here on the Island.”
