Every month we offer a wide range of opportunities for you to network with like-minded Island businesses. It’s a great way to meet new customers and clients, to promote your business or to catch up with existing contacts.
Our monthly Friday Business Networking Breakfast is our flagship event for informal networking. Long established as a great way to meet business people over a Full English breakfast, it’s a brilliant way to connect with like-minded potential customers and clients. We’re conscious that early mornings aren’t for everyone, so look out for our lunchtime and evening events too.
Each year the Chamber traditionally delivers prestigious business events including the Business Awards, the B2B Expo and the Cowes Week BBQ and drinks party, all of which can provide opportunities for sponsorship and entertaining key clients.

Join us for a free, IW Chamber, members-only tour of Robin Hill. We will hear from CEO Lee Priddle on their journey to create the ‘all-new’ Robin Hill Adventure Park.
The Robin Hill Partnership, owned by local businessmen Lee Priddle and John Smith, has spent the last seven months investing in the Island adventure park which opens in time for Easter with over 15 brand new attractions for the 2025 season including real mini diggers, an 18-hole crazy golf course, an electric boat safari and an indoor ice rink.
CEO Lee says: “After falling in love with Robin Hill, we couldn’t be more excited about opening this beautiful park and sharing it with the people of the Isle of Wight and our mainland visitors. We’ve been doing a lot of shopping and hope everyone is as delighted as us with the result!”
There will be tea, coffee & pastries on arrival and members will be given a guided tour of the park!

We offer new businesses the opportunity to take their ideas from paper into practice. We offer a business seminar aimed at people who are starting a business. Get the tools you need to take your idea from the drawing board to the real world.
This course is suitable for those with a business idea they wish to progress, through to those who have been in business for six months. We will take you through all the various aspects that need to be considered including: Market research, cash flow forecast, tax, national insurance, VAT, making tax digital, marketing, business names, bookkeeping, insurance, social media and websites, closing with an introduction to your business plan.
The one day workshop is delivered by an experienced business mentor, in a friendly manner, allowing you to get as many questions answered as possible. You will be spending a day with other like-minded people, embarking on the same journey, with the opportunity to network and share knowledge.
When starting in business you have to wear many hats, some fit well and others need adjustment. Come along and find out which areas you might need help with.
Please note there is a £5 admin fee for this course.
