Online magazine The Magpie Anthology has relaunched with new contributors and a more Sunday supplement focussed emphasis, making it an ideal vehicle for Isle of Wight stories and editorial. The online shop has also been restocked in time for Christmas with local producers for those all-important festive goodies.

Alongside this, Editor Amber Beard who is known for her copywriting and editorial feature credentials, has launched a new service for businesses: re-evaluating and refreshing your website.

“I look at so many websites in my job, and I was shocked at how many are littered with typos and punctuation and grammar errors,” she explains. “So, I decided to set up a one off, one price service (£150) whereby I will go through your website with my virtual red pen and correct any errors. Your website is your online shop window, and it should show you at your best, but there are so many that don’t. I will also ensure that your message is clear, and that people really know what you do. It sounds simple and it is and seemed like the ideal opportunity to put my pedantry to good use!”
