The nominations have been announced for the 2018 Business Awards for Excellence, in association with Red Funnel. The prestigious awards will be presented at a glittering ceremony, hosted by Anneka Rice, on Friday November 30th at Cowes Yacht Haven.
“It’s an incredible shortlist that has given our panel of judges an incredibly hard job,” says the Chamber’s Chief Executive Steven Holbrook. “The number of entries has doubled this year and the standard of entries has never been higher. Our new panel of eighteen expert judges from the Island and across the UK were very impressed by the calibre of entries. Drawing together the shortlist, based on independent judges scores, has meant that some very good businesses have narrowly missed out on a nomination this year. Being nominated really is a huge achievement and we’re set for a highly competitive evening. Congratulations to all of our nominees.”
