Can your business support Isle of Wight Day? The team behind the event are looking for Island businesses to sponsor Island Heroes.
Isle of Wight Day is about joining in as a community, showcasing the Isle of Wight as a great place to live, work and visit. We are in our second year and there are lots of events and activities underway to make this a great celebration. We have over 2000 people signed up for the big parade – the biggest the Island will have seen. Why not enter your business and join in the celebrations
I-Spy Island Hero
Local Artists are creatively depicting famous residents or visitors as 7ft figurines, which will pop up across the Island (some in prominent places) in the run up to the main celebrations. Some of the figures will be immediately recognisable, some less so. Bowie, Queen Victoria, Charles Cockerell to name a few…
We are looking for businesses to sponsor a Hero – at a cost of £200
In return:
Sponsored plaque (example below) – your business logo, name and an excerpt about you with your contact details, which will be attached to the back of the figure.

Potential national coverage
After Isle of Wight Day, we will be holding a big event at Quay Arts where these figures will be put to auction.
