Mandy Westmore and Sue Plummer are celebrating 15 years of working as Travel Counsellors on the Island. Mandy and Sue took the decision to launch their own business when the American Express Travel office at GKN Aerospace, Cowes, was relocated to Redditch.
“We were faced with redundancy and changing our careers,” Mandy says. “With a passion for travel, a drive to succeed and our own young families to support, it was quite a decision at the time. With our background in corporate and leisure travel and our combined knowledge and experience, we are able to offer a truly personalised service. Many business and leisure customers have become friends over the years, and as over 90% of our business comes from repeat bookers, that is testament to the trust and confidence that their clients place in us. 15 years on and we’re still loving the job and what we have created together!”
