Island construction company One Stop Design and Construct Ltd is expanding, thanks to funding from the Isle Of Wight Lottery. The interest-free loan of £12,500 will also lead to the creation of several new jobs.
“I’m a construction company and I’m looking to grow,” explains Guy Mattinson. “The lottery loan has enabled us to buy another business, reducing my overheads. I’m now looking to move it to new premises and take on extra staff. I couldn’t have done it without the Isle Of Wight Lottery. It’s been really helpful and I can’t think Linda enough. Going through the loan process was the most helpful thing I’ve ever done because it forces us to look at ourselves and the reasons why we’re in business.”
