The IW Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Health team are holding an event on Monday 18th January at 9.00am to explain more about how your business or organisation could benefit by nominating a Healthy Workplace Champion.
“We can help you to coordinate a fitter, healthier workforce,” explains Jane Ackrill from Chamber Health. “We want to welcome representatives from businesses of any size to our event. Our team has already visited 37 Island companies, including BAE, NHS, Yokogawa Marex, IW Council and Platform One to deliver NHS health checks.
“We want to help as many Island businesses as possible. If you’d like to find out more about how your organisation can join in, please come along to our session. It’s a very informal event, with a provided healthy lunch, that won’t take up a whole day. It’s an interactive workshop to explain more about creative ways in which you can encourage your workplace to adopt fun, healthy behaviour and active, sustainable travel plans.”
